(Grants available from the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection to promote AI startups in the Munich region)
We support talent and startups in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) to promote innovation density based on this future-oriented technology in Munich. The appropriate framework for this is provided by a focus on the responsible use of AI, the establishment of an AI ecosystem to strengthen co-creation potentials as well as the targeted support of emerging startups through separate prototype funding and cross-institutional collaboration with two Munich universities and their incubators. The offer is rounded off by event formats such as hackathons, pitch events and online teaching formats for broadening further education on the use of AI round.
We network cross-industry players, enable exchange and collaboration, and define the relevant topics for Munich.
To this end, we hold topic-specific workshops together with our partners, including Health & Resilience @ Work with LabCampus, Privacy & Security in the context of Urban Mobility with BMW and Google as well as Trends in Digital Financing: Klarna, Scalable (…) what’s next? with Luceasi
We operate Munich’s only future-oriented innovation lab on a co-creation platform for developing cross-sector solutions.
Together with our online and offline community, we’re developing a strategy (vision, mission, strategic goals, etc.) for Munich and making a significant contribution to the further development of Munich as a location for innovation. Using startup funding in areas such as artificial intelligence, and by attracting international talent and startups, we’re constantly expanding our range of innovation activities.
We bring the network together and provide access to decision makers, specialists and talent within the Munich Innovation Ecosystem. Through regular MUST Dialogues, we promote an open exchange between stakeholders from the business world, the public sector, academia and the startup ecosystem. Furthermore, our innosabi platform offers the possibility of searching for experts (e.g., for AI, IoT, Impact, etc.) and networking in an online community.
We are the contact hub for the innovation ecosystem and provide support for national and international delegation trips. We support the design of the program, network with relevant players from the Munich Innovation Ecosystem and offer an exchange of experiences in one of the most inspiring co-creation offices in Munich – the Munich Urban Colab.
We connect people and challenges. Our team supports innovative ideas all the way to implementation and connects stakeholders from startups as well as the areas of research, industry, and politics.
What’s more, our innosabi platform enables global searching: you can scan the entirety of the platform content and innovation projects, matchmake using expert searches (AI, IoT, impact expert, etc.) and form target groups (e.g., through AI and IoT clusters) by skills and user attributes. This helps you to find the right partners for your ideas and projects.
We host dinner crawls, roundtables and large events. Our team makes it possible for innovation drivers to come together to foster co-creative collaboration and cross-sector exchange on common challenges. Events focus on interactive collaboration, as well as national and international matchmaking, and are equally appreciated by participants from a range of target groups. At the biannual Co-Creation Conference of the Munich Global Impact Sprint, we bring together young startup talent and established network partners and identify interfaces for innovation potential.
We are in regular exchange with national and international ecosystems and identify potentials to drive Munich forward. We’re also happy to network in an international context.
We continue to develop the Munich Innovation Ecosystem – by creating marketing material for Munich, like the white paper „Munich as a growing hotspot for innovation and entrepreneurship –observations on the Munich Innovation Ecosystem “, we offer transparency around all innovation activities and identify possible fields of action for the ecosystem. With the Corporate Startup Program, we offer an overview of the variety of funding and support opportunities for startups and are happy to provide curated networking. Another of our goals is to work together with the community to strengthen the national and international visibility and positioning of the ecosystem. All our marketing materials can be found at: Website or innosabi platform
Thanks to regular exchanges and communication within the Munich Innovation Ecosystem, we’re always informed about current ideas and ongoing projects. We create transparency through our networking events and offer a platform for cross-sector collaboration.
Under the “Ecosystem Voices” tab on innosabi, we’ve set up a virtual bulletin board where you can share with us your current thoughts, topics and questions for the Munich Innovation Ecosystem and all platform users directly upon registration.
The platform enables innovation projects to be carried out, all the way from the submission of an idea to its evaluation, and collaboration with participants from the fields of industry, academia, the public sector and the startup ecosystem.
Initiatives are jointly developed and implemented in the partner network of the Munich Innovation Ecosystem. The resulting Munich Pitch Deck can be used by all partners to present Munich’s success factors.
If you’re interested in the Pitch Deck, please feel free to email us at: contact@muc-summit.com
(An initiative of the three universities – LMU, TU, HM – in Munich for the promotion of international talent and startups)
We support international founders and startups in their development and network them with industry experts from the science, business and the public sectors. Each startup works in close contact with experts from the MUST network. Dedicated coaching programs, networking events and pitch events are also offered in collaboration with the universities and startup centers. The universities and their (international) networks of forward-thinking startup talent provide an important basis for targeted collaboration on the further development of Munich as a location for innovation and entrepreneurship.
